How to delete your account in the Sorozano app and what gets deleted
About the App
- Sorozano is an educational app that teaches children mental math and the soroban.

How to Delete Your Account from Within the App
- 1. Open the app and sign in.
- 2. Go to Profile → Settings.
- 3. Select “Delete Account.”
- 4. Confirm your request.
- A parent can delete their child's account from their own account the same way.
If You Cannot Sign In to the App
- Send a message to support@sorozano.com from the email address registered on the account, and state the username.
- We respond within 7 business days, and we verify your identity before carrying out the request.
What Happens Immediately After You Submit a Deletion Request
- The account stops appearing on leaderboards.
- The account's link to the parent or coach is removed.
- The app can no longer be used normally.
Recovery Window: 30 Days
- You can recover the account with all its data within 30 days if you change your mind or the request was made by mistake.
- This window exists to protect you, not to delay the request.
Final Deletion After 30 Days
- All data is permanently erased and cannot be recovered, including:
- The account and sign-in data.
- Name, username, and avatar.
- Learning progress and exercise history.
- Points, stars, gems, and transaction history.
- Tournament results and league history.
- Friends lists and challenges.
- Notifications.
- Usage and analytics data.
What We Retain
- We retain a subscription record (subscription date and status) for accounting and legal purposes only.
- This record does not contain any child data or learning progress.
Note for Parents
- If you delete your account, the accounts of children linked to you are deleted as well.
- If you recover your account within the window, your children's accounts are also recovered, but they must be re-linked.
